AFCON2025Q: Harambee Stars announce traveling squad for Zimbabwe and Namibia clashes
Goalkeeper Levis Opiyo has been called up to replace South Africa-based Ian Otieno, who has been dropped from the squad. Additionally, Bandari's Shariff Majabe has been included to replace Serbia-based centre-back Collins Sichenje, who is sidelined due to injury.
Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has announced the squad that will travel for the 2025 AFCON qualifying matches against Zimbabwe and Namibia, set for September 6 and 10, 2024.
Team captain Michael Olunga, along with Jonah Ayunga, Erick "Marcelo" Ouma, Joseph "Crouch" Okumu, and Richard Odada, will join the squad in Uganda.

The first match is scheduled against Zimbabwe on September 6 in Uganda, followed by the second match against Namibia on September 10 in South Africa.
The team is scheduled to depart for Uganda on Monday, September 2, and will proceed to South Africa on Saturday, September 7.
